Another innovative and original screenplay has been passed over so that Buena Vista can bring you this! The worst part is that I'm kinda looking forward to it.
Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
“Of the great classic fantasy series, it’s the one that hasn’t been done yet,” Chris Weitz told Empire Online.
Possibly because the heroes of most of the other great classic fantasy series weren’t romanticaly involved with their cousins and didn’t go about betraying allies and friends and letting their swords eat said allies’ and friends’ immortal souls.
There are some thing I don’t need to see six stories tall, you know? Heath Ledger in a green fright wig is one of them.
It’s a risk I’m prepared to take if I get to see Christian Bale’s torso in similar magnification.
Heather Matarazzo was always my mental image of Death back in the day, but I don't know if she's too old to play the part now or not.
Rachel MacAdams
Wow. That Joker makeup is awesome.
I can't wait to see what Rachel McAdams does with The Time Traveler's Wife.

Nicole Kidman looks like the crazy witch queen, but the polar bear is ridden bareback by the protagonist. I think.
Right. There are, however, zeppelins and talking animals, although the sad lack of pirates and elves and elf-pirates is remarkable.
O zeppelins! I'll go see anything with zeppelins.
O zeppelins! I'll go see anything with zeppelins.
Me too!
Did you know the most rare of all pulp magazines was Zeppelin Stories?
Only one issue, with the cover story: "Gorilla of the Gasbags!"
Oops! I lied. There's more than one issue of Zeppelin Stories
Ooh! Lester Dent's Zeppelin Tales!
All Star Zeppelin Adventure Stories
And, of course, there are always the Greatheart Silver stories by Philip Jose Farmer.
