Well, that's mostly what they are. I don't know whether to be consoled or disgusted by the relative absence of Hannibal Lecters out there. I'm really sorry to hear that... I'm glad they made the case, though.ETA: It's weird, because of some work she did...God, 15 years ago, she's sort of enshrined for me as The Cutest Little Pervert in The World. And for her, that was what? A week or two out of her life, that maybe occasionally she talked about on the street with a freak like me. But every time I take my jacket out of the closet, I think of her anyway, and how, really, horsehide's warmer. I don't know where I'm going with that except that maybe we affect people in ways we don't even know.(It's not quite as weird as it sounds...living in the desert, I don't use the leather all that much. )

We saw Letters from Iwo Jima last night. It was too long--the last 30 minutes seem to go on FOREVER, but there were some incredible performances and beautifully shot battle set-pieces.
