I was actually braying with laughter at that scene, Aimee. It was perfect. It wasn't even painful--I almost thought I would be embarrassed for Olive, but her family was just so supportive and she was obviously having a good time, I thought it struck just the right tone.

I'm pretty sure they were actual pagent girls. I watched a documentary on HBO or something when the Jon Benet case was huge and that's what they really look like. It is fucking creepy.
