"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah! Got it. I can think, I just can't spell.

This was me. Though I'm consoled by the fact that better spelling skills would have netted me 18 of 20 before looking for hints.

I think Freddy Quimby should walk out of here a free hotel

Thank you, SA. I have it now.

Thrive to spite them

SA thanks for the clues! I got #14 right off the bat, but it took me a while to figure out #2 & 10.

Wait! No I got them all. I was spelling something wrong.

I'm stuck on the highlighters on the road and the guy with the staple removers in his mouth.

For the highlighers: Ignore the road. That's what kept screwing me up. As someone else suggested, making a mental list of what is in the picture may help.

For the staple remover-mouth: Well. It's like the scissor-hands one, kinda, in that it's representing a (very memorable) character rather than a scene from a movie. It's not the main character, but he was in more than one movie.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The staple-remover mouth, I had to go by trial and error off IMDB, because I recognized the character, but couldn't pin down the right movie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My first guess was right for staple-remover. I think it might have been because I saw it in the theatre and it stuck. But it took me a while for the title to come and attach itself to the movie.

Art Crawl!!!

Jesse -- I had to do the same thing!

Corwood - also staple remover character's name is the same as the title of one of the other movies.

Ohhhh, I got it. The highlighters are a mystery. Perhaps it's better this way.

Corwood, did you read the hint about looking at the colors of the highlighters?
