For the highlighers:
Ignore the road. That's what kept screwing me up. As someone else suggested, making a mental list of what is in the picture may help.
For the staple remover-mouth:
Well. It's like the scissor-hands one, kinda, in that it's representing a (very memorable) character rather than a scene from a movie. It's not the main character, but he was in more than one movie.
The staple-remover mouth, I had to go by trial and error off IMDB, because I recognized the character, but couldn't pin down the right movie.
My first guess was right for staple-remover. I think it might have been because I saw it in the theatre and it stuck. But it took me a while for the title to come and attach itself to the movie.
Jesse -- I had to do the same thing!
Corwood - also staple remover character's
name is the same as the title of one of the other movies.
Ohhhh, I got it. The highlighters are a mystery. Perhaps it's better this way.
Corwood, did you read the hint about looking at the
colors
of the highlighters?
Thank you for all the hints! I was able to get 13 of them before reading the hints, but got totally hung up on the other 7.
Megan, yeah, but it's just not clicking.
Corwood, the
pink
highlighter didn't want to
leave a dollar,
but he had to anyway.
The
orange
highlighter isn't being honest with the rest of them, but the white out will
risk and lose his life
defending his honor.
I'm still up if anyone's still not getting them.
