A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I did, in fact, enjoy McCabe and Mrs. Miller and definitely see its influence over Deadwood.
Excellent news! I fully agree with Robin and Frank about McCabe's hoopleness. I don't think Deadwood has an analogous character who similarly less smart than he thinks he is, except maybe E.B. And McCabe, for his faults, is no E.B.
Nuh uh. He would, at least, wipe the spit off his face.
McCabe toadies to no man! Which, as it turns out, is his problem.
Yeah... McNulty syndrome.

I really loved
Titanic Two: Two Titanics!: "They rebuild the Titanic, but not just one Titanic, two Titanics, one on each side of the Atlantic. One sets sail from NY, the other from Belfast, and they collide head-on in the icy waters of the North Atlantic."

I think I sprained something trying not to laugh out loud at The Uplifting Retard. Who will they cast to follow in Tom Hanks' and Cuba Gooding Jr.'s footsteps?
Hey! Caroline Dhavernas is in that movie about the murder of George Reeves.
