The only
colorblind person I knew was red-green colorblind, and it was funny - some browns looked exactly like some reds, and ditto with greens, but not all reds and greens looked alike. So one day he had red socks on that he thought were brown, but he could tell some colors apart very well.
Not that he could dress himself anyway.
Thanks for the information, everyone. I knew the buffistas would have the answers.
Corwood,
I did, in fact, enjoy McCabe and Mrs. Miller and definitely see its influence over Deadwood.
I was surprised to find myself enjoying Beatty less than McShane, being as how he is a legend and all. Unless he is more legendary for his...off-camera skills.
But that McShane Swearingen performance is pretty amazing, of course.
Also, poor McCabe is pretty, well, dim. Mrs. Miller is more the Swearingen in that outfit. I always like the snarky better than the merely attractive.
Andre Braugher will be in the next Fantastic Four movie.
BTW, that piece has a casting spoiler for a NBC show. (
er, it would have been nice to see Andre Braugher in er -- but Forest Whitaker will be okay too.
)

Heh, I was about to chime in that I thought McCabe was pretty much a hooplehead who got lucky for a spell.
True... he is kind of a...hayseed for a whoremonger "poetry" or not.

Excellent news! I fully agree with Robin and Frank about McCabe's hoopleness. I don't think Deadwood has an analogous character who similarly less smart than he thinks he is, except maybe E.B. And McCabe, for his faults, is no E.B.
Nuh uh. He would, at least, wipe the spit off his face.
