Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Condolences to Cass and her family.

Jen, I wish you loads of healthma. If you're the sort of person who feels at all helped by reading the experiences of other people who've been there before, the SF Chron has been publishing a series by one of their young copy editors who was diagnosed with a rare cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, Jen. I'll keep praying for you. Seriously, take care of yourself.

Also, the female condom was originally created to be for gay male anal sex, but the manufacturers knew they could never market it that way.

Honestly, I don't see how that would really work logistically.

msbelle: EAT. (Not EAT IT! Just eat.)

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I should totally use the backpack I have, but my bag is way more stylish. Sadly, style overcomes my pain. Foolish, isn't it?

One Hot Burrito!

This is Jane Espenson from accounting.

Just dropped on 24.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sadly, style overcomes my pain. Foolish, isn't it?

Yes. And I wrote the book.

eta: Not for style. I'm foolish for other reasons.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Actually, it explains things like high heel shoes and much of the 1970s.

Balloon hats.

I recently discovered I could wear these without pain. I'm not up to chronic use, or anything, but it was interesting to learn.

Heels vary so much, though -- I have shoes that are unwearable that are the same heel height as perfectly comfortable ones. It's weird.

I saw that 24 thing on Jane's blog. Cute!

Thank you, everyone. I hope it doesn't get old hearing that your support means a lot and is quite the spirit-lifter. Because it does and is, and I truly appreciate it.

I've just gotten comfortable (as in, physically) typing on the computer for extended chunks of time -- it's like coming up for air!

Oh, and I've been looking forward to reporting that I got my cookbook, and it's fantastic. Kudos to VW, Deena, Brenda, and Raq.

Hi Jen! I hope you're doing well.

Yeah, and I have cute backpacks; there just seems to be a hierarchy system in college whereby the more senior you become the farther away from the backpack you move.
