Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

but there've been rumours/theories for awhile that Cheney would step down and let Bush appoint a VP with a chance of winning the 2008 presidential election.

Crap, I was thinking of applying for the position, but if one of the qualifications is having a chance of winning the 2008 presidential election....

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

By going home early?

Yeah, I guess. It just feels weird, as a salaried employee, to be accounting for less than a full day off. But I have to use it up before the end of March or I lose it, so I guess I'll be giving myself a longish weekend soon.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I would vote for tommyrot, and possibly make a campaign donation as well. I'd give good money to see a SOTU address by someone with a cat perched on his (or her) shoulder.

So, there's one vote, and at least $11.50 in the presidential campaign till. How does that stack up against the competition?

Or I could just dangle cat toys in front of the camera, to amuse the cats watching at home.

I don't know what the competition has. So, as far as I know they have 0$. I win!

A lesson in how not to use scare quotes

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Well, that was unexpected.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Ack about the luggage, shrift. Nothing crucial in it, I hope.

Maybe her fears were realized and she got pinched by security for bacon smuggling.
