After a bad night (including fights over snoring and who should sleep on the couch, the snorer or the snoree) I woke up late and it was dark by the door where my shoes were as I was leaving (the snorer was still asleep on the couch) with the result that I was halfway to work before I noticed that I am wearing a black sweater, black miniskirt, brown lace tights, and bright red clogs with black polka dots, instead of black clogs. Sigh. It's going to be a bad day.

Ooh, good call, "bon bon." If that is your real name.
Whichever led her to make scrambled eggs this morning, wash the dishes and put the clean pan back on the low burner. And then leave.
I totally did that the other day. Yay for cast iron pans that are fine afterward. I threw some oil into the hot pan, figuring I could at least get some seasoning out of it.
It is terrifying outside -- so windy! I don't want to go outside.

Hey, is anyone missing most of yesterday's post on their LJ Flist?
NYistas, the Times reports that Trader Joe's is opening at Union Square in 3 months. (I've never had a Trader Joe's. But people seem to love them).
I enjoyed Love Monkey.
Me too. It had a nice HIGH FIDELITY vibe. Question though, I was kind of only half paying attention during the montage near the end - was the revelation that the ex-pro sports friend was gay something they mentioned earlier and I just missed? Or was I completely hallucinating and it wasn't a guy he brought flowers and wine too (or that wasn't him)?
Also, on The Daily Show, I was saying to myself, when they started riffing on the "taint" in Washington, "They aren't going there, are they?" Boy, did they ever. The representative picture of the Washington taint made me hurt something laughing.
