That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I let the kids watch some Olympics. This resulted in the freestyle sofa leap competition which was not the best thing for right before bed.

Who won?

I'd have to say that Emaryn won. Leif had an "agony of defeat moment".

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Nice pictures, Hec.

ION, my kitty managed to take me by surprise and jump on my shoulder as I was walking about. Once there, he likes to ride around and see things from a new (not ground level) perspective. I took a few pictures (warning - I look rather dorky in the picture I'm in): [link]

In fact, I look rather nervous. Which is not true, as I no longer have to worry about him jumping up on my shoulder. In reality, I'm trying to see if he's looking suitably photogenic....

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This gets a lot better if you have video of the moment...

Sorry, no video. It wan't too spectacular thought, just sort of a thud to the floor, then there was crying that was quickly warded off by a blankie.

Blankies should be handed out at the Olympics for all the also rans.

Some of these kids could use one, I'm sure.

Here's my real question about the Olympics: Are we going to go back to calling it Turin?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

You! On the internets! Fear me!

That picture is hysterical. He looks all intense and ready to pounce.

Also, your cat seems to have really long legs. Does he, or is it just the angle at which the on-your-shoulder picture was taken?
