Lillian was a hair under 16lbs and a hair over 26" at her nine month check-up. I fear her days of facing forward are far in her future, at this growth rate (which is a shame, as I'd love it if she started liking the C-A-R).

Can you rig up a mirror or something? I'm sure it IS boring looking at the seat.

Em spent a large part of her summer in just a onesie and diaper or just the diaper. I forsee her doing the same this summer.

I would totally dress like that all summer. It would rock.

Babies running (or lolling) around in a onesie are the cutest. All pudgy legs flailing.

Well, except for that part.

Oh you totally have to get a little blow up pool to install in your front yard or on your porch if you don't have good shade in the yard (I can't remember.)

hee! that would be fun! there's just enough room for one in my little front yard.

Last year we went to the fancy pants pool in Mt. Washington. It has a beach! And plenty of baby-friendly areas.

There is a mirror, and there are usually toys, but she still finds it horribly dull.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

When I was a kid, we had one of those plastic pools that we'd put in the driveway when it got hot -- the Somerville Riviera!

Where in Mt. Washington? I did not know there was a fancy beach pool there.

For some reason, a blow up pool in your yard has me flashing on that house on the corner of Falls by the gas station that always seems to have some sort of seasonally themed blow up SOMETHING. It never fails to crack me up when they cram a giant inflatable frankenstein into their tiny little yard.

I don't think lisah's yard is quite long enough for a slip and slide without traffic hazards or head injuries.

Dominic's favorite pasttime when he was 1.5 (wow, forgot a summer) was smashing down the inflatable sides of the pool and watching the water cascade down the driveway. He emptied many a pool that summer.
