Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Katie!

I went to bed early, because I was soooo sleepy, but then I couldn't fall asleep! That's fucked up. Then I woke up before my alarm, which is fine, but honestly.

Anyway, I have a new Prince video on my tv right now, and some extra time to lounge around before my doctor's appt. So that's good.

OMG, this Pink song/video is Teh Awesome -- Stupid Girls (lyrics: [link] ) She busts on EVERYONE in the video -- Olsens, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, generic video honeys, fake-boob girls, on and on. Good times.

I always forget how fun it is to watch the videos -- now I'm back in touch with The Youth Of Today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can someone give me a quick recap of 24? I only caught the last ten minutes.

I collect the questions to an "Answer Book" at the Looni. Yesterday we got this one: "Are there homosexual whales?" Ha ha, you say, but a) yes, there are [link] and b) when you google, there are a stunning number of political web sites referring to homosexual whales. Huh.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

there are a stunning number of political web sites referring to homosexual whales.

Now I'm wondering what the relative percentages of homosexuality are for elephants and donkeys.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I especially liked the bit about how the gay bottlenose dolphins maintain their primary cowboy love bonds even when they interact homosexually with a whole other species of gay dolphins. What is the ocean these days, some kinda giant bath house?
