You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Can't wait to hear all....

Welcome Home!

I have washed dishes and made some candles. Also did a wee bit of grocery shopping. The goal is to take lunch in at least 2 days the remainder of this week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did you make the candles from the rendered fat of your enemies?

And are they pretty smelling?

you are thinking of soap. Jesse makes that. I don't ask her questions about her ingrediants.

No, I was thinking of Andromeda:

Beka Valentine: Where did you get the candles?
Tyr Anasazi: I rendered them from the fat of my enemies.

Hot, huh?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

There's some gruesome old riddle with a bit about lighting your way with tallow candles made from your enemy's fat, isn't there?

They are pretty smelling. One batch lilac, the other is something more subtle, it is a mish mash of recycled wax from many old candles.

I think I have 2-3 more candles worth of wax, then I will be done and will ebay my molds.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I do not make my own soap. I take other people's soap and re-shape it and add stuff.

I have colossally fucked up my "check register" spreadsheet, and I can't figure out how. The spreadsheet says I have like $1500 less than I know I do, and the bank knows I do. I cannot for the life of me find the error, and it's making me NUTS.
