All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

There is also a pop-up nightmare book. To give you phobias.

Jars, I'd rather wait for you to do all the work for me distill the information.

Cool beans. I'll send it to you when I'm done. Don't go expecting much though, as instead of writing it a week ago, I've written it all today. Yes, it's due tomorrow. Yes, I do this every time.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hey, deadline pressure brings out creativity!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

You say that like it's a bad thing. You're invalidating my entire approach to life.

I need to vacuum, but cat sleeping with her tongue stuck out is too cute to disturb. I am such a sucker.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My cat doesn't need a vacumn to wake her up and get her interested in me cleaning. I was just wiping down all the glass surfaces in the apartment, starting with the TV screen, and she had to get down off of her high perch on the cat condo and supervise. I think she was hoping I'd open up the DVD tray so she could have fun playing with it as it slid open and closed, but no such luck.

Where is my motivation?

Probably buried in here amongst the detritus of my life, that I need motivation to clean up and toss out... Damn the irony.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am packing up my recent ebay sales. What I thought might bring in $50, netted me $83. motivating?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're up in Tahoe. It's a winter wonderland.

I'm intrigued by the recurring Alpine motif and am trying to talk people into going to the Swiss Chalet for fondue.

Emmett and I have been building horrific Calvin & Hobbes inspired snowman heads with icicle tusks.

JZ is contendedly flipping through Life Magazine's yearbook for '51, and her brother Chris is upstairs napping (hence I have access to his laptop).

We're going sledding in an hour.

Congratulations shrift!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

That sounds lovely, Hec!

I, however, am at work. Again. Or still. Or something. Since Jan. 16, I have only had 1 day off, and yes, that includes weekends. I've been working 60-70 hour weeks until this week and I'll hit close to 90 hours by the time I leave tonight.

We have a HUGE report due tomorrow and we are so close to being done now, I actually see light at the end of the tunnel. I am exhausted, though. I seriously need a day to lay around the house and do absolutely nothing.
