Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ION, anyone watch Survivor? Jessica, Brenda? Cuz I thought it was awesome! Loved the challenge! Loved the decision on who to boot! Love La Mina!

That challenge was crazy! Fun. And the team dynamics aren't playing out in totally predictable ways, which is very cool.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I heard someone -- Scott Hamilton? -- say "He's here, he's Weir...." He did not say "Get used to it."

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

good form rather than artistic merit

Yeah. My daughter kept asking what the commentators were talking about with the ski jumpers: how straight the back was, the positioning of the skis, etc. Unless you're familiar with the sport, it can be pretty incomprehensible to the novice watcher.

My god, Plushenko's triple axels are a wonder to watch.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I also appreciate the argument that there shouldn't be team sports. Well, nothing bigger team-wise than a bobsled.

This reminds me, I watched a program last night that revealed that one of the many species of sabre-toothed cat that have cropped up from time to time had a brain only slightly larger than that of a bobcat, despite being rather akin to a bear in size and build. Which suggests it was probably rather stupider than a bobcat.

Art Crawl!!!

I watched Grey's Anatomy again. George made me cry and so did the shower at the end.

And they showed an extended promo for Sunday's new episode.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yeah, I'm getting tired of the hardships of everyone's damn youth.

Art Crawl!!!

Olympics backstories, Trudy?

On, GA, I realized that not only did Dylan have to die so that none of the principals or Tucker did but also because he was the most connected to Meredeth. Oh well.
