You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I still don't understand the Biathlon

Biathalon is doing something extremely aerobic, while mixing in intervals of great precision where you want your breath and heartbeat to be as calm as possible. It's very hard to shoot accurately while your heart is pumping a mile a minute.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I fully acknowledge that I'd rather watch the subjective stuff (skating, ski jumping, diving, whatev) -- races of whatever format are only so interesting.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Dancing is athletic. Haven't Dancing with the Stars and Skating with Celebreties taught you anything!?

Yeah, they've taught me that I'm happier watching Animal Planet.

Biathalon cracks me up -- so practical!

"It's skeet shooting, you idiot, not ski-- Oh, what's the use?"

If ice dancing goes then so should equestrians!

Absolutely. Next thing you know, they'll be trying to add Formula 1 as an Olympic sport.

I also bitter that baseball and softball got dropped for 2012.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I also appreciate the argument that there shouldn't be team sports. Well, nothing bigger team-wise than a bobsled.

Jesse is me. I like the creative element of the more subjective sports. Races all become about tenths and hundreds of seconds and you can't see them.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Does it mess with your work plans?

A little. I need to be setting up by noon and will now be arriving at 9:30ish. That doesn't leave a lot of time for transport from airport to conference. And with a morning arrival, we probably will not have rooms to put our bags in or to clean up. ION, MY OWN BED TONIGHT.
