On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nothing's more fun than late night in the airport, huh, msb?

Burrell, you remind me of one of the guys on Miami Ink (TV show about tattoo shop) who had a baby, and from then on, whenever he wasn't at work and anyone asked what he was doing, the answer was always "holding baby!"

Now I want chocolate again.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

now delayed another hour.

ay! That sucks. I *hate* that.

Hee. It's the Japanese kid. He's so funny.

I leave crazy early Sunday morning. Which gives me time to stalk Leela or something on Saturday.

And then I went around trying to tell everyone, and of course there's only one person I work with who's geeky enough to understand.

I think many of the trainees are going to be very confused on Sunday, because we're all going to be on the same floor, in neighboring halls. Now I wish I was staying longer.

Oh, yes, the beds are very nice. And I have a balcony! I'm also horrifically dehydrated, and am starting to rethink my previous hatred for humidity.

I worry about poor Yoji.

Good luck, Jen! I'll be thinking about you.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm either jealous of Allyson's future Strega-having, or of Strega's future Allyson-having.

And feeling much sympathy for sad-baby-holding Burrell.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Gook luck, Jen. Much healthma to you.

Visilurking

Both attorneys are wrong. Korman should not have allowed those emails forwarded. It's unprofessional and totally hypocritical considering their contents. I know what new attorneys in small firms make, and to be quite honest, it's pitiful and sometimes downright insulting. When Korman reduced what he promised to pay her she had every right to blow him off. The fact that he "ordered stationery and business cards for her, reformatted a computer, and set up an e-mail account"? A little over-eager on his part and basically a cost of under $300.00 for the stationery and the computer he presumably gave to the new associate he eventually hired. I have no sympathy for him.

Abdala, OTOH. Total bitch and he's better off not having hired her.
