If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I liked Ziyi Zhang's dress, but the colour looked funny. Maybe it's one of those ones that loses in translation.

I thought she looked great in it -- not everyone could pull off that color.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I liked Ziyi Zhang's dress, but the colour looked funny.

It looked chartreuse in the photo I saw (somehow I never saw her on TV all night), and although it didn't particularly unflatter her skin tone, it's a really distracting color. Whereas, Emmy Rossum wore something beige-gray, that made her skin look like recycled paper.

In other dress news, I'm pretty sure Reese Witherspoon's dress did not fit her. It looked too small in the bust.

And I'll renew my objection to high-heeled sandals: they make feet look like chicken claws, and the advent of floor-length dresses must surely be a desperate attempt to hide chicken feet from the general public. Alas!

She looked like she had no boobs at all. I think she must have loaned hers to Scarlett for the evening.

I liked the colour, though I would never be caught dead in it.

information libertarian

Who IS Emmy Rossum, and why is she at awards ceremonies? I mean, she looks nice, but what has she done for us lately? Or ever?

Concur that Reese's dress was oddly-fitting at the top. Since it was vintage, maybe they had no choice.

Also, Charlize Theron usually does well in the frock department (we will not speak of the fake-tanner), but this was an error. I guess the mesh bits were lined, but I could swear I was looking at her belly button, and tall skinny women need to dress to look like they have a waist (I am such a woman, trust me).

Oh good Lord, who put Zhang Ziyi in that colour? No one, repeat NO ONE should ever be allowed to leave the house in anything remotely resembling lime green.

Michelle Williams' dress did nothing for her either.

I also think I like Hillary Swank's and Cynthia Nixon's dresses but can't find a good full length shots.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

High heeled sandals are mandatory. Not mandatory in the everyone-must-wear-them sense, but in the sense that their presence as an option is a must. So not really mandatory at all. Whatever.

And I don't even have nice feet, or like heels. But sometimes they are right.

Did not like the Alba dress. Too much pleating detail in the bodice. And the fadeout didn't work for me either.

Hush! I have a strange addiction to lime green gogo dresses. However, Ziyi's looked electric.

I had just gone to the IMDB to find that out.

Okay, so, apparently she's in Phantom of the Opera. Not really answering the 'why is she there' question.

Lately, she was Christine in Phantom. Previous to that, she was the chick in Day After Tomorrow. And she's got something else coming up, but I can't remember what it is.

And I like high-heeled sandals. I wish I could wear them without horrible blisters.
