Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sandra Oh's dress is dodgy even on her, but I love her so she gets a pass.

Catherine "deNoove"? Seriously?

I know you think the announcer of the Hollywood Foreign Press awards to get the foreign names right.

She looks great though. Not sure about the bigass sleeves on her dress.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think if Sandra had more of a figure, those...gills would have looked really weird. But it's all so teeny I can't get het up about it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No ruffles. Thank god.

Oh, and I meant to say: Cashmere, you're just lucky your alien overlord isn't calling for ruffles.

I like the skirt of Katherine Heigl's dress, but the bodice is waaay to busy: [link]

I agree. I think she's so wee that the dress somehow works in all it's wrongness. But I think, at it's core, it is kinda fug.

I don't like prints at award shows.

I think Sandra Oh pulls of that weird dress quite well.

I just think Katherine Heigl's dress looks to old for her. Or maybe it's just that I still think of her as one of the alien teens on Roswell. (Although she seemed to old for that part at the time)

I will agree that the dress is way too fussy. It reminds me of Marla's ugly dress for the Barbie challenge from Project Runway with the weird maroon-y color and the whickety-whack trim.
