I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So. Frelling. Bored.

How's your dad, sweetie?

The only time I ever cried over a sporting event

Wow. I choke up at the torch run, never mind any actual sporting triumph.

Our wings are not tired

Seems to be fine. They had to put in two stents, so he's in the hospital overnight, but I spoke to him about an hour ago and he sounds fine. Just means that I'm stuck in San Diego overnight and bored out of my head.

I'm a horrible son.

Always Anti-fascist!

No! Maybe...overly honest? Don't worry...you'll have plenty of time to practice "Of course, I don't mind."

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Okay, so Adelphia says that they can give me digital cable at 63 per month plus tax and bullshit charges no one understands. Add cable internet at 47 plus tax and bullshit charges.

So I figure 137 bucks per month. I can get rid of aol and a phone line saving me 50 bucks a month. I already spend 44 on crappy cable.

So it'd be another $42 per month for getting digital cable (and really, i can't tell the difference) and cable internet.

Hm. I wonder if this is worth it.

What say the peanut gallery?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It's weird--certain songs can have me sobbing, if I'm PMSing, Hallmark commercials can set me off, but sports stuff? Only that once.

Um, no. Not for being bored when you're near your parents during a health crisis. That doesn't qualify as horrible, not at all. Is there somewhere you can watch the Olympics tonight, or would that not be fun for you?

Our wings are not tired

I'm not a big Olympics fan. I'm sure I'll end up in front of the TV in the back bedroom at some point. I've got two scripts with me that need to be read as well.

Thrive to spite them

I cry at weird moments during the Olympics. Tampa Bay has 8 players going to the Olympics, 4 Canadians, 1 America, 2 Czechs, and 1 Swede. One of the Canadians is just there in case someone gets injured..and actually he only made that spot because of injury drop outs. It will be exciting to see them play.

ita, do the ads on your site still generate revenue?

Allyson, I'd say worth it, but I am addicted to my digital cable and cable modem. Any chance you could save on digital service on a new plan? Or Do you now have netflix and could maybe share your plan with someone?
