Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hmmm. Today it rejected email from my agent as spam.

I think aol is blocking the whole world.

I really need a new ISP and DSL.

It's all very expensive though, yeah?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Well, that's a relief. Just came from a way better performance review than I honestly deserved. Go me?

Probably not much more than you're currently paying for AOL.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Available for Allyson:

EarthLink High Speed DSL Internet
  • Downstream speed of up to 1.5 Mbps
  • $21.95/month for the first 12 months
  • Monthly Charge: $ 39.95/month thereafter
  • Term Commitment: 12 months
  • Early Termination Fee: $149.95
  • Activation Charge: $ 99.00
  • One-time Fee Discounts: $ -99.00
  • Total One-time Fees: $ 0.00
  • Probably more expensive than AOL, but if you just want a different provider, you can get their dialup for $9.95/month for the first six months.

And I just picked them out of a hat--no comparison shopping performed.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whoot, hockey! (In denial of all other types of hockey and associated controversy elsewhere.)

I just moved the dvd burner & the vcr into the bedroom tv (did we talk here about the study that showed couples who have a tv in the bedroom got less action than couples who didn't?) so that the SO in his sickened state can still feel productive by running off our ridiculous collection of vhs tapes to dvd.

That leaves the tivo, the ilo (with its working hard drive but nonworking dvd burner), and the dvd player in the living room. I think this may be a solution that actually works, especially allowing us to be the more tv reliant family that we are while our roommate (who, coming as he does from a commune, totally isn't into tv at all) can have a reasonably quiet living room.

I am, however, totally watching the opening ceremonies, because I am a big giant sucker for that sort of thing.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Also, earthlink offers a AAA discount, if you're the sort of person who has AAA. It's not much, but every dollar, right?

hmmmm. Is it complex to switch? Also, I need to keep my aol name. I've had it for like, 12 years.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You can't keep your AOL name unless you're with AOL. It's possible AOL can do some forwarding dealie, but you'll still be subject to their foibles. And their costs.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Allyson, if you sign up for AT&T DSL online right now, they are having a $12.99/month for 12 months right now.

PR: I liked Austin's line, but that music was HORRIBLE. "The American President" meets ... something. As far as Santino is concerned, I think he did what he needed to do design-wise to be able to stay. Producers love him. He's a character, people love to hate him. They watch him for the reasons people first listened to Howard Stern - they want to see what the FUCK he designs next.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You'll have to keep paying AOL, then, but just to keep the email is like $5 a month.
