"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

But all the online biographies say the war killed him. How do they know?

It's more poetical to say that than to say, "Dude never washed behind his ears. Eventually, that caught up to him."

Yes, people, the insinuating influence of Spielberg-itis. I would blame the History Channel, but they always spent more time on Churchill anyway.

My health insurance isn't bad, but, it's amazing how quickly flex-spending money gets used up, isn't it? All those copays just disappear my ability to buy new glasses.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a weird health insurance. But I think I like it. No copays are very handy--the FSA comes into effect for larger stuff. And I do have the not-huge but not-small stuff. It's not like I ever have to worry about whether or not I'll hit my deductible in any given year--I hit my maximum out of pocket about 2/3 of the way through.

Speaking of which, gotta go see a man about a pain.

information libertarian

Okay, Zillow is estimating that my mother's house on Caspe Cod has increased 9.8% in value since she bought it September 30. That's nice, I think. If insane. (They don't even know about the fact that she got a new septic system and painted it!)

Trust my rage

Zillow doesn't work for my county. Stupid zillow.

I have always wondered about more flights flying from Florida to South America. In my head, it was because.... I don't know, something related to business.

The truth is, I wonder if it is just the carriers run fewer routes from the US and those that do have traditionally gone through Florida. There's no technological reason why it works out that way.

Hell. I can't get a nonstop flight from National to Burbank.

David, congrats on the book! Very exciting to send the contract.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I am confused by the need to fly to Florida to go to the Galapagos.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am at work. I also just ran my normal weekly meeting. No way I am gonna make it a whole day, but I am gonna get some stuff done. Woo Hoo!

I think I am moving at about 50% speed. Walking is certainly that slow. Really frustrating in NY, I gotta say.

Kat, thank you for that link, it made me smile.

Dude, I didn't even know that the Grammy's were last night
