Yay! I get to see Laura tonight!
More than 4 hours sleep might have been good today, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Perkins! Have a good trip.
Nilly, Tom, Hecubus. Timely greetings. Sorry for the early wakefulness, Hec.
I'm so jealous of Perkins' trip.
erika! Ginger! Another two lovely Buffistas with whom I hadn't posted in forever. How are you doing?
Hi y'all.
Bah. They're redoing our heath insurance. We all will have individual insurance plans, which we'll be reimbursed for. So, if my health insurance costs $5,000, I have to pay it, but I'll get a raise for $7 thousand something to cover it and the payroll taxes. So I have to meet with this insurance guy for about two hours to go over all the options.
The meeting will be in my office. Maybe I'll post questions here: "Excuse me - I have to see what my blinvisible internet friends think of this option...."
That sounds complicated, tommy.
Did Perkins leave already? Can we start the party?
Unrelated to all that, I never completed the business requirements document last night. My migraine was so bad I forgot about it until the wee hours of the morning. At which point it was kinda too late, since it needed to go out to India. Ah, well, they'll have it right before tonight's meeting, migraine or no.
I think that if you're a smoker who kravs, your gym bag is a contradictory place to put your smokes. You're just asking for trouble. We had one guy take a smoke break between classes. He ended up paying.
That sounds insane, tommyrot. Maybe it gets the company a tax break or something? But you'd think providing health insurance for your employees would be something the feds would want to reward.
In a fit of "I hate child care centers and will quit my job to take care of my little darling" yesterday I checked what it would cost to put me and Casper on mr. flea's student health insurance, for which he now pays $600 or so a year. To add us would be $4000. Um, not doable. (My current copays for her and me are $1440).

My insurance is an insano $275 a month. Feh. And no dental, which has become a problem recently. There were some advantages to Big Corporate World.
