'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Gronk.

I'm so glad that The Daily Show showed Sen. Leahy's reposte to the Attorney General during the recent hearings -- "Excuse me, I forgot that you can't comment on anything relevant to these proceedings."

Hey, David, Nilly, Tom. I was up earlier but too gronkified to come up with even a "Timelies!" post.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hi, Nilly!

And then you could come up with a post full of long words like "Attorney General" and "hearings". You ungronkified well.

Tom, where's your tagline from?

Go away before I replace you with a very small shell script.

Oh, yeah, that was excellent.

I appear to have no water. The hell? In the kitchen anyway, haven't checked the bathroom yet. At least I have enough in the filter in the fridge to make the coffee with.

Jess posted it here. It's from overheardintheoffice.com, I think.

I can totally imagine somebody saying this. Even in Hebrew, because we use the English words for "shell" and "script".

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, why aren't you sleeping?

Who can say? The brain is a mysterious thing.

When I'm eating lunch, none of the West Coasters should be awake.

I concur. Maybe nobody will be at work today and I can sit in my office with the lights dim and chug coffee.

Good morning, Nilly, Tom, Theo and brenda.

I mailed my book contract off yesterday. Now is the time for Sprockets to dance.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi everyone.

My plans for today are studying. And more studying. And some grading, and typing up a quiz.

I set the date for my mock specialty exam. It's to determine whether I'm actually as ready to take the specialty exam as I think I am. March 1. Eek.

Oh, that's right! I knew there was something I needed to tell you: congratulations on the contract for a new book!

A person who is awake way before the time they should get up, has to do something fun in that duration. There should be a rule or something.

[Edited to wave at Hil and wish her good luck with her studyings.]
