Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Have a tequila for me.

OKAY!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

PR: I AM CRYING! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NOT MY NICK!!

That was totally producer's pick for television. Santino makes for "better teevee". SO ANGRY. The fact that Santino has been part of the final two SO DAMNED often should have been the deciding factor and Nick's ambition should have gotten more points. The suit might not have had pockets, but at least IT WAS FINISHED. And Daniel liked it!! Kara hated what she had on.

I'ma join forces with Sumi and Jesse and we're gonna go dress Michael Kors in stuff from Wal-Mart. ALL POLYESTER.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Severe envy over here, myself.

Of the Polyester?

Yes. It's much easier to assuage than envy of the Galapagos.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This is probably true.

PR: Oh Uncle Nicky. You was robbed. I mean, your outfit kinda sucked but it wasn't like anyone had to GLUE it on to Daniel.

I also missed the preview for next week but someone at TWOP said that Jay was in it and said something to Santino like, "I hope you get canned."

They're reairing tonight's ep now so, hopefully, I'll catch it this time.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wake up, East Coast. I'm not sleeping.

Allyson's new glasses look fab and Jesse-esque. Also Allyson they have the virtue of being writerly.

Emmett got better by yesterday afternoon. He ventured out of the house for the first time in three days and we went to the Panhandle (not the Texas one) and looked for acorns and dog-encounters. Then by the hardware store for more wood-working tools. It was unbelievably gorgeous and unseasonably warm yesterday. In the 70s.

After work today I have to BART over to the East Bay and meet up with the other baseball coaches (just for our team, so that's three of us) at the Triple Rock to go over our draft strategy. Draft strategy! For 9 & 10 y.o.s!

Emmett's best friend made a late transition up to Triple A, so I'm going to try and nab him in the draft as a low pick.

Swouncing

Hec, why aren't you sleeping? When I'm eating lunch, none of the West Coasters should be awake.

I skipped a lot. I graded a lot, I TAed long rehearsal lessons, I whined a lot, but the students' exam is over. Yay. Now I can actually work or something.

Also: does anyone remember the birth date of Cornwood Industries' son? Isn't it around pretty much now?

[Edit: 5+9=6+8 I even miss playing with the post #s!]

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Good morning, David.
