I am apparently both nearsighted, farsighted, and my eyes do not focus.
I have some of that stuff. My binocular system is screwed up: my eyes don't work well together. If you have that too, that could explain the nearsighted and farsighted: if one eye focuses long and the other short and they aren't playing nicely together, that's how you get all those very expensive diagnoses at once.
I feel your pain. Once I add up my progressives, prism correction, glare correction, yacht money for my doctor, I'm well over $300 per prescription. Not counting frames.
Allyson, most everyone fucks their finances, at least once. Many fewer get publishers trying to buy their books.

Why are people whining about whose fault stuff was? It's just a class, and these scores go nowhere. We were supposed to be done at 5 and they're yammering. Moderator!

Allyson, so sorry to hear about the glasses and money stuff. I nearly averted a financial crisis just yesterday.
So, it's 5pm on the West Coast and the Grammys just started. Isn't that weird that it started so early? Of course, you guys have other advantages, but everything starting so early seems strange.
And you know what else?
I look like ass in them. I tried on frames for 40 minutes. I knew not to get the cheapest and ugliest since I'm supposed to wear them a lot.
It just didnt matter. They all make my eye wrinkles magnified, while making my face look fatter.
I don't know about contacts, he didn't say anything about them.

I just saw the assignment from a professor. She wants a 2 page critical analysis of something. the instructions for the specific points she wants us to cover is one page, single-spaced. The instructions for the whole assignment is 3 pages, single-spaced.
In no world should writing assignment instructions be significantly longer than the assignment itself.
