All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

And yet, I still work in electric all the time. And I still go up the ladder or up the scaffold all the time, despite how queasy I get. I never sweat half as much from physical labor as I do from working up in the grid in some precarious position.

Ah, but see... this tells me that you are actually doing the work. I'm talking about the folks who get to the top of the ladder and say, "I can't do this." Then I end up doing the job I've hired them for while they sort gel.

I recently started watching SG-1 season 1 on DVD. Fun stuff. I'm surprised by how many episodes I'd missed. They sent disc 3 before disc 2 so I'm slightly out of order.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was just checking my spam filter for false positives (found your yousendit email, jesse) and stumbled upon this great spam:

Subject: Why are cigarettes better than women: you want them whenever you want,

Feel the wings of a bird w1th M@rlbor0.
A c1garette is better than wom@n - it wil1 never

Life is too short to say "No" to smoking. Don't make your life meaningless at all.

Trudy, I'm sorry for your losses. Extra strength to your family.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Puppy Bowl: That's a Standard Poodle puppy -- they're the big ones that haven't been ruined by overbreeding. When you meet them, you realize why poodles were originally sporting dogs. Don't let the silly haircut fool you....

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Poor msbelle, no one should be that cute when she's sick, but SO CUTE!

My kids' circadian rhythms are all off today. Franny woke at 9 am, lunch was at 2 pm, no nap, dinner at (looks at clock) 7. Zoinks. As for Isaac, he took two naps, but he went down like a brick at 6 pm.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Is GA on? Here they're doing recap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think GA is part one of of a two-parter, but not two hours tonight. I'm annoyed that my DVR can't tell when it's actually starting, so I have to watch the stupid post-game show. Or I guess I could set it to record longer?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Theodosia, I thought so when I saw him, but then they said he was a miniature.

I'm guessing it'll be 7:30 board time.
