The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

How about cats?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Juggling cats seems really unpleasant. I do appreciate Kathy singing and dancing though.

Both of my papers are finished. The dogs have been fed and walked. The laundry is going into the dryer. I think I'm going to crawl into bed.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Heh. The Return of MacGyver. [link] (The movie will play after annoying flash animation is over.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Huh. I would so never think to do that. Some combination of laziness, and always on the lookout for a good excuse for a new toy. It dies, it's kicked to the curb.

It's still working 6-ish years later. At the time my options were to look into repair or have no TV. Moving expenses had eaten up my bank account.

Now tagless for your comfort.

x-post with Bitches:

So I totally skimmed. I've been busy.

Thanks, everyone for the well wishes. The new baby girl is so cool. She looks like her brother (and I will have photographic evidence up as soon as the camera recharges and I can upload).

For now, we're all trying to get some rest in the chaos. It's a good chaos, but it's chaos. We're healthy and the delivery was not that bad--definitely shorter than Owen's.

Yay Cashmere - congratulations and much fun and happiness with your sweet baby girl!

Good morning Cashmere! Well, you're probably (I hope) asleep again now.

amych, as part of looking into the finances of house-buying check the Looni web pages for some program that helps lower-income employees buy locally. I remember seeing something about it a couple of years ago - encouraging home ownership in the city and so forth. If your income is too high, congratulations! But I remember we qualified, so it wasn't super-low.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm slowly progressing from Gronk to Semi-Gronk this morning. Had people over to watch SciFi Friday, so it was pleasant and social, but oh my goodness, this was a week to be tired....
