So cool! I can't go to the reception they are having because I'll be out of town. I'm so happy for them.

Pfah. I'm pissed
Well, sure, it would be annoying in the world of iTunes. In the world of launch, it was great.
Kat, that's so cool! Go your kids.
Also, ita, I have lovesexy track by track. Do you want me to see if I can zip it up and email it to you or mail it to you or something?
That's awesome.
I suspect being their "boss" makes a bit of difference. Though she has had to pound "work ethic" into a lot of heads. The kids get class credit and a stipend of sorts, which annoys her because some sign up just to get out of regular classes. She disabuses them of that pretty quick (or kicks them out of the program.) Honestly, I think they should get rid of the credit. If it is a job work-study style, it should just be that.
Dude. Spirit Airlines is having a $20 each way sale from Ft Lauderdale or Orlando into Kingston or Montego Bay. Tickets to Florida ain't that expensive. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Especially into FLL (my boss has to go there a lot) MCO (Orlando) will be a bit more expensive but still WOW that's a great price!
Prince is on SNL this weekend, y'all.
French fries on pizza! And in faux-chinese!
I swear, it must have been Prague or Spain. Because that's the only place I ate all of those things. Except I remember the food in spain as good, if sometimes startlingly fishy.

Ooh, thanks for the head's up, brenda. I've totally given up on SNL!
When I was in Ireland, I went to this restaurant in Dublin that was supposed to be the best Irish food place. I got this thing that I can't remember the name of -- sort of a really thin potato pancake, really more like a crepe, folded around a filling of some sort. I think the traditional filling was beef, but I got a vegetarian one that had eggplant and zucchini and tomatoes and a few other things. It was decent, I guess. Nothing spectacular.
The butter in Ireland was amazingly good, though. WAY better than any butter other than homemade that I've had here. (I also went to the Irish Butter Museum and learned way more than anyone ever needs to know about Irish butter. Not because I was that fond of the butter, but because it was raining and I'd already done everything else that I could get to without having to walk more than a block in the rain.)
