So would that be the solar plexus?
No, just a simple neural net in the walls of the gut. But it does the basic things that a brain does--it reacts to external events and organizes a behavioral response. Not a really interesting response. Basically, "more acid" or "less motility". Still, it's a kind of a brain that we didn't know that we had, so for a psychology nerd it is pretty exciting.
Wow Rick, that is so weird.
v. weird. would be neat to study it in context of eating disorders
Project Runway:
I think Kors has a lot of freaking nerve criticizing Santino for not thinking about "dressing real people". And Bagdley/Mishcka have balls of pure venitian lace to agree with them. I don't know that I've EVER seen A THING by either of them in a size 14 - the average size of a woman in the US.
Ya know?
On edit: I stand corrected.
I just found some Kors stuff on eBay in a 16. Still. The majority of designers don't make clothes for "average"
women.
Damn Rick, that's creepy. Now I'm worried that brain will take over, or something, imposing its primal needs on me.
WHY AM I SO ALERT AT 11? AND HUNGRY?
Oh, right.
Did you nap this evening, ita, or train?
No napping. But I taught a couple classes kinda by my lonesome (was officially evaluated for the first time--apparently I can be sarcastic and somewhat harsh. Please) and then had an extended natter in the parking lot. And I haven't eaten a crumb since lunch. I need to get off my ass and have that one last English muffin and rooibos tea.
yes, you do.
That reminds me, I keep meaning to buy rooibos tea and then not.
Okay, PBJ muffin being eaten. Rooibos being drunken. I love that tea. My sister gave me a box from South Africa, and it's addictive.
