Ehn, the bat-boy's been tabloid-beloved for decades and he has his own musical now.

Oh sure, but if you look past the press coverage, and the musical, and the general fame, who really thinks about the bat-boy?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The brain is tricksy, and some people with shockwave trauma only, no wounds, have serious problems, whereas there was some historical guy who took an iron bar through the head and seemed unaffected.

My ex the medical student opined that any head trauma, including brain surgery, would necessarily cause some deficit. Once you jostle up the brains all kinds of problems occur. Also, we don't know how telegenic he'll look after he's patched up.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimee, life in Philly is so much less expensive so it would be like getting a raise to b/c of cost of living. Where are the offices?

Well, almost everything bill-wise would remain the same. Even rent, although we'll be in a bigger place. The offices are on Market Street downtown Philly.

Huh, I realize that I have no real idea who Balthazar Getty is, despite the fact that he is in one of my favorite god awful bad movies of all times Young Guns 2. Odd that.

Also, I am eating a calzone, but now would much rather be having fried plaintains. The calzone is giving me heartburn. Or maybe it's the root beer.

When I think about moving again, I want to live somewhere we might one day be able to afford a house. Which we could do in philly, maybe, or Baltimore. Not so much with DC. But reality is given Lori's job, we're not moving so we'll never own a house.

kat, he's on Alias. He's cute in a roughhewn, angry boy way.

Kat, if it makes you feel any better, I IMDBed him, saw that he's been in tons of movies that I've seen, and still have no better sense of who he is.

Balthazar Getty also in "Lord of the Flies". Mmmm....BIGGEST school girl crush on him. It's the piercing blue eyes.

I love all of these Kat posts right in a row! Such fun.

Yeah, I never got into Alias, despite the pretty and the seemingly silly fun.
