'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I hear you, msbelle. Speaking as someone who woke up from aching in the middle of the night....

To a certain extent, yoga and other exercise helps reset my muscles and their aching, but the break-in period is a bitch cookie.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Heh. It is one of my Mom's favorite phrases, and so I have inherited it.

information libertarian

My student is coming for 3 hours today, and I have about 45 minutes' worth of work for him to do. I literally can't think of anything else he hasn't already done. He is way efficient.

I can just send him home and pay him anyway, but I always feel terrible when I do that. It's kind of wrecking my day right now. Stoopid guilt!

hip deep in pie

msbelle, I hope you feeli better soon.

I have a conundrum. Our offices are closed until noon, however, buses aren't running in the city until "mid-afternoon". I'm hoping that the gov't comes to its senses and cancels work for the whole day...

Could you work from home?

the gov't comes to its senses

HA! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! That's the funniest phrase you've ever said.

I hate to say it, but it's looking much clearer than an hour ago. I think we'll be sent back to work.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Lord. Watching last night's Daily Show and Charles Barkley. He started out with talking about how Brokeback Mountain turned him gay, and now he and Jon are riffing on why the Professor wasn't getting any on Gilligan's Island. Funny stuff.

SUE! Check the gov web site. Offices are CLOSED for the rest of the day!!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He started out with talking about how Brokeback Mountain turned him gay

There should be a line of T shirts.

Art Crawl!!!

GG was excellent last night! I loved the whole dinner fight stuff -- THAT'S why I love this show.

I did not watch the SOTU -- I watched Supernatural - not a bad episode. BTW, did Kim Manners have something to do with Angel? (I need to go visit the IMDB.)

And for Project Runway fans: Nick's Blog!

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, Kim Manners (of Supernatural) is Kelly Manners (of Angel)' brother.
