"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

GG was sort of giddy towards the end there. Fun.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Very fun.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I wasn't going to watch SotU. I wouldn't have even known it was on today if people here hadn't mentioned it. But I was already listening to KPFA and they moved into it. So I kept it on and turned the TV on for visuals. Predictably, it made me mad. I wish I could have enjoyed quarterbacking the Democrats' response and listening to KPFA's pundits, but my mother then kidnapped me to deal with a general contractor and a guy who'll be handling our networking.

Now I'm cold because even though I have a double-glazed window, there's a draft coming in somehow. And I've hardly accomplished anything because the nice young man who is networking was geeking out at (a little with, but mostly at) me and I was too polite to cut it short.

I'm looking forward to Thursday and Friday when I have no after-work appointments.

But I also couldn't remember what happened the episode before.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Catching up on posts my first realization was that I had totally forgotten about the SotU address. Oops.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I just discovered Dirty Jobs last week, so naturally I caught it instead of SotU. Mike Rowe not only has a wicked sense of humor and adventure, he ends up with good rapport with the people he meets.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Today my body HURTS! The problem with fibro (well, one of the problems) is that is so stress triggered and well, when I'm stressed is very often the times I am least able to slow down because of pain. STOOPIDHEAD MUSCLES.

This also means I need to cancel my plans tonight which bums me out because I was going to see friends. &)($)(^$#@

And my eyes keep welling up AND I CANNOT CRY AT WORK!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Work stress? Stress with an end date stress? So you can make new plans for after?

Also, you may be able to cry in the bathroom. This in no way means that you should be driven to cry at work.

deadline stress. delivery day is always stressful, but yesterday people were just asking for too many other things for me and then the delivery mechanism broke so we missed our deadline.

Also becaus eof going to yoga (which is a good thing) my muscles are tired and sore (because I haven't been for so long) and so they are more apt to cramping and spasming and doing all the painful things they do.

Our bathroom is decidely unprivate. It's ok, I have years of repressed WASP to pull from.
