I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd watch the SotU Address, if only I were more confident in my skill at voodoo.

I actually thought the age makeup was the weakest part of the film. It came close to breaking my suspension of disbelief a few times.

I thought it was decent enough up through the "I wish I knew how to quit you!" scene (Jake's moustache was trés unflattering, but didn't ping me as fake), but Heath mysteriously regressed about 15 years when visiting Mr. and Mrs. Twist. Grief: the new botox.

The sky in Lightning Flats had to be enhanced... you don't get aerial vistas like that outside of Montana. Or Heaven.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Thanks for the semi-colon help earlier-- I had to dash quickly to finish the edits and make it to the theatre.

Also, yay for fostered doggies!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Let me sum up the SotU so you don't have to watch it.

Yeah! I just can't bear to listen to Shrub in the best of times, and this ain't them. I foresee Stargate DVDs in my future. Or maybe Out of Gas. And that beer idea isn't bad, although I'm not willing to watch the SotU in order to play the drinking game.

This may be a silly question, but I've only liked beer for about a year. I'm getting sore throat. Does beer bother a sore throat?

eta: Nevermind. I've decided that beer must have analgesic properties because of the alcohol, so Ima go get some.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Robin, I'm watching Dirty Jobs also! (He's cute. And funny.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

You and me, Zenkitty! (And he is TOTALLY cute and funny!)

Oh, Dirty Jobs! I haven't actually seen a whole episode yet, but I caught a bit one night in a hotel where they showed the Bat Guano episode, where he got his boot caught. Yikes!

I'm still at work! Why, why! Argh!

I'm still here because I'm rewriting this entire report because nobody read my mind did precisely what I needed them to, so now I have to go fix it all. Argh!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

AND (shout-out to Betsy), it irks me every time they call Harriet "Lady Wimsey" in this Busman's Honeymoon movie -- she's Lady Peter!

HEY! I thought we were sending him Kuma? Especially since Kuma is so fashion forward.

Lady Peter, exactly.

I love my half-chow but I don't think I'd ever get another one; they're just a little too dog-aggressive and one-person-fixated.
