Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'd love to know the context of this pic!

The fox is probably thinking, "Musta' taken a wrong turn somewhere...."

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

GO MSBELLE! You can do it! GO YOU GO YOU GO YOU GO YOU!

That's pretty excellent, JZ.

There was a guy in my class today who worked as a set dresser for Alias for 4 years and then WW. He has the coolest job ever. I have job envy now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But how in gods names do you make a consciousness out of the air?

Mostly you use brain cells. There's still a ghost in the machine issue though.

Until you read Oliver Sacks and realize that continuity of consciousness is largely an illusion your brain maintains to keep you from freaking out.

The Wall Street Journal published an article about my high school, and its reincorporation as a charter school.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Men also appear more prone to use violence in seeking revenge while "women tend to view murder as a last resort," he said.

I don't know about that last as stated. Women tend to kill fewer people personally, but if we factor in the women who insigate killings by their boyfriends/hired thugs I suspect the number that view murder as something other than a last resort would even out.
