Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What did people do this weekend?

Not much.

About GA: Did anyone get a Golden Girls vibe off the older ladies? I'm not one who believes the right thing is trying to save your marriage-- I think the right thing is being honest about your feelings, and being gentle with those you care(d) for. IFF McDreamy is still in love with his wife (not sure I've seen the evidence), then he's trying to do the right thing. Otherwise it's just the stiff, delaying the kaboom thing. Cristina rocked, Burke rocked, Alex slimed, Izzie and George had their moments in the sun.

Perkins! Colin just got back from the Galapagos--are you taking a cruise?

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Were you singing along?

No. Of course, "You're So Damn Hot" was scheduled to play right after it, so if my boss had waited a couple of minutes, he would have caught me dancing in my chair.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

ita, I totally got that vibe. It made me laugh.

I've been talking about this in Bitches, but it might look like there's a halfway decent chance of me getting a transfer to Philly. Who here has lived/does live (billytes - I'll need your help when you read this) there?

I have never been, but I had never been to California OR Los Angeles when I moed here, so that's not an issue.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Iffn you're bored can you make a clean version of that FAQ thing we've been working on?

I think so. I know I can from home, but the tracked changes thing might make it hard here.

Not much.

Yeah, right. If I weren't being lazy, I'd go back and see how to scream Brown belt at you.

And FYI nice lady, 5 of 12 of your CDs are done.

Yay!

Perkins! Colin just got back from the Galapagos--are you taking a cruise?

I am! did he have a fabulous time?

He did. Being Colin, he didn't take a cruise, but got fishermen to ferry him around. Loved it loved it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Aims, my parents lived in Philly for the last (yipes!) almost 20 years -- I never really lived there for more than a summer, since they moved there when I was already off in college, but I've always loved the city.

That sounds great. My mother is going too, though, so I think the fishermen thing is right out.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I found a great place in Roxborough/Manayunk (I love that name) and it just seems to be falling into a place I had no idea was open. It's strange. I love the look of the neighborhood, close to downtown, where I'd be working if it did happen, and hey! LOVE the sandwiches, although I've been told I haven't had a true one since I've never been there.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Aimee, I've never lived in Philly, but both my brother and mom are in the southern NJ suburbs within a 45-minute drive, so I can ask them any questions about living in the 'burbs, if you need!
