t Poking head
ita! I saw people congratulating you in my skippings, so I looked a bit back. Now I have this urge to call you and shout "khagora khooma!"¹ in celebration. You're amazing.
¹ Hebrew for "brown belt"
[Edited to note my not-really-here-ness, as well as the double consecutive square nature of my post #, with 36=6² and 49=7²]
I'm taking a sick day today.
YAY. And of course body pain that you chose is better than head pain that just shows up.
What Jesse said, ita.
I have to go to the dentist this morning, for a cleaning. I wish I didn't.
Now I have this urge to call you and shout "khagora khooma!"¹ in celebration. You're amazing.
Oh! I remember when you taught me that phrase and I kept forgetting it. Now I want to shout "khagora khooma, mother fuckers!" but it seems beyond rude to morph something from someone as nice as Nilly into profanity.
But I already called my mother and used a great deal of swearing to convey my feelings on this belt. I'm aggressively relieved.
And grateful for everyone's support--both at the centre and here.
Now I want to shout "khagora khooma, mother fuckers!" but it seems beyond rude to morph something from someone as nice as Nilly into profanity.
Heh.
I like the phrase "khagora khooma."
So, if you ever have to fight a cleaning robot, would you yell, "Khagora khooma, Roomba!"?
Now that is embarrassing.
Now that is embarrassing.
Really.
Perhaps the guy was channeling the spirit of Gilligan, Inspector Clouseau, or one of the Three Stooges.
Yay for the brownbelt ita!
Happy Birthday Anne!
I just want to say that these craxy theatre people are driving me craxy! I spent about 3 hours this weekend simply fielding venting from both the director and the costume designer, who are not communicating well. The director thinks the designer acts like a three year old. The designer wants to quit because the director is treating her like she is three. They keep lying to and misleading each other. To be honest, I don't care! I just wish they would get their shit together and let me do my job which is making the costumes! Even though I think it is silly for such a small theatre to do things like build nurses uniforms, scrubs and lab coats.
Any time anybody surpasses a therapist's predictions it puts pep in my step...if I had a step.(I did not manage to surpass*quite* that much.)
