Hey! Quick post, since I am up past my bedtime (but I had three Vodka tonics!)

1st -- ita! Yeah you! Go on qith yer bad self! Good on you! and I referenced you tonight on my date!

And 2nd-- I survived my date! He was intimidated by how smart and funny I was! I stayed out 1 1/2 hours past my 10 done-date time, and I gave him my number. He said something about "the next time we went out."

I had fun. Dating easier than I remembered.

ita: Talking about Montreal. I said I have a friend (I upgraded you from internet acquaintance I've met for 5 minutes IRL -- hope you don't mind) who used to hang with comics in Montreal.)

He said Montreal was one of the more fun comedy fests.

beth, Emmett showed surprising fingerfulness after handling the sharp tool. He actually did pretty well, showing some delicacy of touch as he carved the wood. Considering the only thing he's shown any delicacy for so far is pitching inside, this was encouraging.

Way to go, Erin! I had complete faith in your deep reservoir of charm.

Yeah, but that was surprising.

I did most of the sawing. With a hand saw -no power tools have been used. The chisel is quite sharp though. But proper technique ("cut away from yourself") made the difference.
