Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Never. Zabar's is possibly the one true good in the universe.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Didn't sleep well, again. I hate waking up too early with my heart pounding and then not being able to fall back asleep.(Why am I having so much trouble with ADs this go-around?) In a little bit we head out to my friend's baby shower.

The status is NOT quo.

t waves

I want breakfast delivery, but I'd settle for my car back so I could just go get it myself. I am SO tired of being car-less.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray for Rio's puppy!

Which would be sad were it not for the fact that this particular friend has turned his hospital stay into an endless lounge party.

That is fabulous.

I'm glad to hear you're starting to feel like you again, ita. Happier still that you're happily battered and bruised.

Ditto this.

So, Pillow Talk is on TV, and I've never seen it before -- it's hilarious to see just how much Down With Love ripped it off.

Man, I slept too late. I need to grocery shop today, and maybe go to Best Buy to buy a printer and/or shredder. We'll see if I make it out of the neighborhood.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thirded.

I went back to sleep, hard, after being up for about half an hour at 6:00, and only woke up about half an hour ago. Yay!

This morning/early afternoon, I am doing not much-- a little cleaning, a little vacuuming, a list or two, and some reading. Then it's off to Sparky's, then home for sushi, a little more reading, and Teevee.

Nice day.

I've been trying all day to get into gear and finish a palynology project that's due in tomorrow. It's meant to be four thousand words, and I started off this morning with fifteen hundred. I've now got twelve hundred and an encroaching panic attack.

The status is NOT quo.

In celebration of Trogdor's 3rd birthday (homestarrunner.com), I present to you the original Trogdor cartoon and his 3-year birthday montage.

TROGDOR!!! Burninating the villages...burninating the peasants!

I've been there, Jars. You can do it. Just get off the freakin' internet!

You can definitely do it, Jars! Just focus on adding words, not subtracting. That will help.
