We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm working. But I'm in a coffee shop where I have wireless access, and they have good sandwiches. Things could be worse. I could be doing laundry...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Tummy is either feeling a little better or I just can't be assed to care anymore. Sadly I don't think I should drive and now I am really craving a cheeseburger.

I think iTunes took the drugs too as it is all irrational and making bad choices. Keeps reimporting the same album and I keep telling it not to replace existing. I was kinda counting on iTunes to be a little smarter than me today.

I guess that means I'm hired.
Whoo hoo! (Oh yeah, earwormed now)

Whoops. At least part of iTunes issue was my fault. It was auto-importing so my hitting the Import CD button was making it go again. My bad.

Still doesn't explain why it wanted to keep importing Bronksi/Communards/Jimmy Somerville over and over. Maybe it took "Don't Leave Me This Way" a wee bit more literally than I was hoping for.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'm sorry iTunes is being uncooperative.

Consuela's working environment sounds rather nicer than mine (although I don't have to wear shoes)

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Buffistas do not make any more sense than ordinary humans in the morning.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Huh. I woke up at around 10 or so today, then stayed awake long enough to call my parents and wash the dishes that I should have washed yesterday, then fell asleep again until 3. I knew I was feeling tired, but I didn't think I was that tired.

The rest of my plans for today were laundry, grocery shopping, and grading. I think I can manage that. Maybe.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I don't know which is more worrysome, the idead of Cass's iPod going out and having sex with vampires alone or inviting them into Cass's house.

Or, possibly, that this quandry was my first thought.

I'm reading an excerpt from American Vertigo. Reading Levy's accounts of some conversations is rather odd, since I'm assuming the conversations were in English, which he then translated into French for the French version of the book, and then the translater translated back into English. There's really something lost in the translation there. I seriously doubt that the owner of the b&b where he stayed in Cooperstown actually asked, "Are you interested in the bed-and-breakfast business, which is the passion of our existence?"
