I do not watch The Wire, but any excuse to give the US education system a good goose is fun.

Just to make Gus' day, I also have to say that my other other favorite Project Runway moment was listening to Tim Gunn get his bitch on with Nick at the fabric store over Nick's new model. He is so my favorite semi-celebrity reality TV guru.

"Gumby legs"

That's my new favorite insult and I'm not even sure what it means.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

As much as I detest Santino, his impersonation of Tim Gunn is spot-on: "Designers, up until now you've all (bleep)ing sucked. However, go out there and kick butt."

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

I also have to say that my other other favorite Project Runway moment ...

Okay. The fact that someone I hang out with has two Project Runway moments they are in favor of does not make me proud.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I love Project Runway!

As much as I detest Santino, his impersonation of Tim Gunn is spot-on:

I completely agree with this. I was amazed how good it was.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I do not watch The Wire

Ah, but you should! It's the best drama about how institutions imprison ordinary people EVAH.

but any excuse to give the US education system a good goose is fun.

It ought to be great. One of the show's creators was, besides being a Baltimore cop for x years, a public school teacher for a number of years, too.

I should watch The Wire. Several people whose taste I normally trust tell me it is fabulous. And did y'all say it's set in Baltimore? So much material for a critical analysis of the way the ed system works (and doesn't work). A friend of mine does some consulting with the Baltimore public school system's HR department and . . . let's just say it's disheartening with signs of encouragement interspersed.

He's a much better Tim Gunn impersonator than he is a designer.

Has anyone else noticed how Corwood Industries is kinda cute?
