Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Juliana, how are you liking your new digs?

I'm enjoying the hell out of them, although I'm starting to feel a bit old (so many college kids here on the weekend, it's not even funny). The apartment is set up well, and I adore this neighborhood. I think I'll try to stay around here as long as I can take it. And, like I said, I've not been running, but I've sure as heck been walking, and there's some amazing views.

I don't think I'll run a marathon again, but I'll probably run Bay To Breakers. That sounds like a good time.

(Also, thanks for asking! I'll probably be making the drive to LA sometime before May, so maybe we'll get to run together?)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Because we forgot to tempt you with the list from LA Time on where to get goat?

Either that or the stupid migraine. My face feels like it's going to fucking fall off, and I'm out of triptans for the day. Took flexeril yesterday, don't want to take it again. This is when headaches are depressing because they're headaches.

I can't watch TV while I'm working out. It just completely distracts me and I don't work as hard.

I have a pair of Nike running shoes that I like a lot, thus far. Though, even on Day One of my return to fitness kick, I realized that I'm probably going to have to figure out what to do about the one leg longer issue. One side was definitely taking more of a pounding than the other.

FUN! Though LA running is less fun than Bay Area running. Or maybe I've just done most of my running up there and not here.

I should look to see when Bay to Breakers is cause I totally love that run. It's a ton of fun.

OH! I could totally do that. Especially if I flew up on Saturday evening and back Sunday morning because I have to teach at UCLA on Saturday.

You should totally come up for that. Or just in general.

I get to see Juliana tomorrow, and have sushi. Whee.

You know what I don't get? Attorneys who are in the office, and yet still email me to find out if we have a book that they know the title of. Dude, we only have about 12 shelves of treatises, just look for it yourself.

Learned Helplessness, Perkins. That's the only explanation.

Oh well. At least it gives me the chance to email them back. "Yes. It's green."
