All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Jon, I'm so sorry. Strength to you and yours.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm so sorry, Jon

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Jon, I am wishing you and your family strength. Let FAQ Wife take care of you if you need it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Jon, I am wishing you and your family strength. Let FAQ Wife take care of you if you need it.
Exactly this.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Jon, I'm so sorry. That's a hard loss.

I'm sorry, Jon.

So an email from my public defender friend (I wish I could post it, but I don't have her permission yet to share in its entirety. It's heartbreaking*) lead me to go read a local columnist's columns from the past six months or so (go to [link] , use bugmenot.com if it asks for an id/pass- also, the column that initiated it is at the top). And now I'm all depressed and impressed. There have been letters to the editor saying he's tilting at windmills, but god. He's doing SOMETHING.

* upon getting an unusually long sentence for burglaries, the mother of the guy comforted everyone else in the family with "he's alive, baby, he's alive. He won't be out on these streets with all these killings. He's gonna live. We should have never left New Orleans. Katrina would have been better than this."

Just wanted to share.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, Hec. I'll have a look when I get home.

Oh, Jon. Peace and clarity to you and your family.
