I should totally get up, boil tortellini, reheat sauce, pretend I'm going to do laundry...
So, the lead instructor got in touch with my GP. Which means I had to write a letter stating my condition for the GP to sign and fax to him, and then I need to send a letter to him saying that I get and accept the risks, and then he takes it to the head of the school (the hierarchy is confusing) and they decide if I can test Sunday.
Now
I'm nervous. But I did ask if I was going to be treated differently from other people that had had concussions. We'll see how that goes.
I'm pretty sure anything with ostrich isn't "American."
But I did ask if I was going to be treated differently from other people that had had concussions.
That does seem like it would be the big question to have answered.
Stupid food bolting cat?
That's Amarna's issue, as well. I feed her in the evenings only, and she just buries her face in her dish and snarfs it down whole, with the result that it occasionally makes a reappearance a few minutes later.
That does seem like it would be the big question to have answered.
I can rat out two people instantly, and point to a few more that must have had concussions, what with their amateur fighting careers and stuff.
I won't, but it should be obvious I'm not the only one, and there will be more.
Huh. Still haven't made dinner yet.
But I did ask if I was going to be treated differently from other people that had had concussions.
This is my second biggest ish *(the first being privacy in medical treatment) - are they going to treat all concussed the same? Because they really need to be doing that.
If the rule is one concussing and you're out, well if it really is their rule and you (the inclusive, anyone who signed up, "you") agreed, then they should enforce it. But that has never been stated as far as I recall.
I won't, but it should be obvious I'm not the only one, and there will be more.
Exactly. It's an activity that leans towards possibly injury. You recover, make your own choices and either continue or stop. Your body, your choice.
What Cass Said.
ION, I just got an email about a job at an organization whose acronym is BNF. Heh.
We had a recent pet scare. Thor (our dog) may have eaten a container of mousebait. He had his stomach emptied, gotten pumped full of charcol, and is now on vitamin K. I think he'll be okay, so far no signs of trouble.
Jumped ahead to post my favorite Random Jack Bauer fact (and I'm sure this is a x-post);
If Jack and MacGyver were locked in a room together, Jack would make a bomb out of MacGyver and get out.
