Batman does not sleep. He closes his eyes for six hours at a time, against the despair in Gotham.
Oooh, good one. All three were good ones. Better than mine, really.

Fine. But I have a beach.
I could have a beach.
I had a tablespoon of lamb vindaloo, chickpea vindaloo, fenugreek cauliflower, cardamom basmati, carrot bread, and fruit salad.
Also a diagnosis from a doctor that Elavil is probabably causing my recent weight gain. Also vindaloo.
OMG, Hec, you'll be there for a million years.;)
Perkins, do you have a pulled pork sandwich source near you now? Weekend activity.
There's an idea. Right now I want to find a good Thai place more though.
I was daring, and went out for lunch. Well, at least I went out to buy my lunch of sushi, which I am now eating at my desk.

Ha! It'll take a geological eon just to find the light switch.
Dear People Who Make My Head Hurt,
Please do not steal 60% of our CPU right before a major deadline in which we always start redlining. I give not a shit about your test schedule. It conflicts with the mission schedule which is God around here.
And stop yelling at me because someone stole 60% of our cpu and we're pretty much redlined and no one can do a damned thing about it until they give us back our cpu.
And I can't make person X magically reappear. She's not answering her phone for you? Guess what? She's not answering it for me either! SHE'S NOT HERE.
me.
Dear Dad
Holy crap you sent me a goofy forward. You never do that. You rant against it.
It was cute and paranoid, though.
daughterlet.
Batman chose his name because 'Obsessed Psycho-Guy' was already taken.
I did, but only because it was mentioned in an Encyclopedia Brown story.
This is from way back, but JZ and I are twins in our Encyclopedia Brown love/knowledge.
I have bought much more stuff unheard since using iTunes. What has changed more is the way I listen to stuff. I hear so much more of my stuff now. I have an entire list of "unplayed" tracks, so I can expose myself to the tracks that I don't really know.
I've mae a similar palylist too, but it's more because I load new music on, and continue to listen mainly to my iPod on Shuffle, so that new music may never get listened to. I had to fish out the new Kate Bush and listen to the disc while I've been cooking to really have a good listen to it. I find I'm also much more impatient with songs that I don't love. They get skipped a lot.
My iPod has made me realize that most of my music tends to the mellow/downbeat. I have very little peppy music on there.
I find that I am starting to see how some people may never buy another physical album again. The last few I bought I uploded to my iPod and are sitting in a big pile by my computer, and I couldn't tell you what they look like or even the name of the album.
