Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Really?

Yeah. I don't have my main iTunes computer in front of me to look up some eMusic mp3s, but I think most stuff is about 160 kbps, VBR.

Oh yeah, eMusic gives you mp3s with no DRM.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am using eMusic and I know their catalogue is growing everyday, but I found them to have more indie than popular stuff.

There are iTunes exclusives - just look on the front page.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think most stuff is about 160 kbps, VBR.

Nice. Maybe I'll get my 50 free songs after all.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Can someone please get a Random Facts thing going about Batman?

I can't do batman, but how about bats --

Size does matter in bats' evolution

A research team led by Syracuse University biologist Scott Pitnick found that in bat species where the females are promiscuous, the males boasting the largest testicles also had the smallest brains.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In albums, or just as singles?

Oh, and I hate the fact that podcasts come up in default searches. It's distracting. They should have separate searches for that.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

An Australian couple who picked up an odd-looking fatty lump from a quiet beach

Who in the hell picks up a random FATTY LUMP that they find lying around? Nast.

If a thing ever needed to happen, it's this. Maybe when I get home to where my comics are...

Given that he doesn't kill the bad guys, I'm having a hard time thinking of any. My brain is broken.

I think some are exclusive live versions some you can only get by buying the whole album.

Oh yeah, I shoulda' mentioned that.

eMusic and iTunes both have the "similar artists" feature (eta: "Listeners also bought" in iTunes), which at first I figured there was little point to, but in recent months I've discovered some really good bands this way. (Solex being my biggest find from eMusic's "similar artists" thingie.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Who in the hell picks up a random FATTY LUMP that they find lying around? Nast.

My dog is the only one comes to mind.

And then a lot of squealing and head-shaking (me shaking her head) (also me squealing) ensues until it's either dropped or swallowed. And then some more squealing and ewing for good measure. Either way, no pay off.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Betsy's post from press:

Just on CNN, the WB and UPN will be collapsed into one broadcast network.

According to the story, it will be a joint venture of Warner's and CBS. Does this mean CBS will (even more) officially become the duffer network?
