How can he not notice that she hasn't really moved in when most of her stuff doesn't even seem to be there? I don't like Burke much, and I think it's because he seems arrogant and condescending to me. Like, by being with Cristina he's giving her a gift, that of course she will want the gift of Burke more than she wants anything else, even her independence. She shouldn't be fibbing, of course, but maybe she just doens't know yet what she wants most, and he's pushing in that gentle I-know-best-for-you way. Or maybe I have issues.
I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

How can he not noticeShe has said that her clothes are there and that she spends all of her nights there. Beyond toiletries, what else would be evident? Burke is quite the clean freak, it's not like there are really signs that *he* lives there much less Cristine living there. And with her self-admitted slobbishness, I doubt she leaves things lying around. Easier to have nothing than trying to only leave a little lying about. Or maybe I have issues too.

MaybeI just realized that I had, at some point, handwaved Cristine into having her own apt instead of the room at Meredith's. Which is patently untrue. Though that has nothing to do with your point, which I think is valid and the furniture lives at the house. How can her room be so messy though ?
I need to gather up all of the episodes and rewatch now. Perhaps a few times.
