Now tagless for your comfort.

Someone gave some drunk dude my name and number?

And the drunk refers to people by their initial + dog???? WTF?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Can we call you A-Dog now?

Emmett and I are back from biking in the park. Down to Stow Lake again where hot dogs and Cherry Icees were consumed. We bypassed the paddleboats and searched Strawberry Island for sticks suitable for Emmett to convert into rifles and machine guns and revolvers. This took a couple hours as there were several dogs to meet and greet and we had to climb to the top of the waterfall.

Dog of the Day: Bunny the Corgi.

JZ gets back from church with her Mom at 3ish. Then we walk back through the park to Chow to get the much anticipated Warm Gingercake with Pumpkin Ice Cream drizzled in caramel sauce.

Our wings are not tired.

Someone gave some drunk dude my name and number?

Sorry A-dawg, I thought you'd think he was really cool boyfriend material.

waits for Allyson to remember I don't have her number

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have ventured out and brunched and visited with friends which included walking a bit and I am tired now. Which, seems ridiculous, but also means I am going to lie down for a nap. I have no interest in getting sick again. The house will just stay a little messy.

Allyson, you must call him back. Be unable to recall his name and question him about a coldsore that is developing on your lip.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Timelies!

I've somehow managed to lose the stylus for my digital tablet. I've searched every logical place and a few illogical ones. Almost more annoying than the fact that I can't use the computer very long without this accommodation is the fact that I can't figure out how it could have disappeared.

Just came back from a fun outing with my ex and his ex. Way back ex like high school. She teases him a lot and it was very fun to be around that dynamic. I can't dish it out as well as she can. We got on well and I've been invited over for dinner. I'm feeling distinctly unproductive so I think I'll probably just nap between now and then.

Ah West Wing. I fell out of the habit of watching it back when my then-housemate and I were having a bit of a Cold War. Her TV had the best reception. I didn't discover BitTorrent 'til later so by the time I started looking for missed episodes, they were rolling off of the torrent radar. So I'm really far behind. But even bad West Wing was better than most TV and my attachment to the characters would keep me watching. I just bought the 5th season DVD set recently. It's a weak season but there are still wonderful performances to watch. I had no idea it was Lucius Malfoy as Donna's photojournalist one-night-stand. I just didn't recognize him without hair.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

bwah, Msbelle.

And Hec has made me hungry, even though I just had lunch.

I just watched an episode of DaVinci's Inquest where the lead (hard to call him a hero) is seriously suspected of a hit-and-run because he was incapacitated by drink on a night when his car went missing. He has no real recall. I find this fascinating, because an American program would make a big deal about the drinking and the moral issues associated; but this show is all focused on the outcome: did he or didn't he hit the guy?

What's cooler is that last week DV was at an AA meeting. (I'm assuming they're aired in order, which may be wrong.) So he's not a recovered alcoholic, and he knows it's a problem, and yet there was no discussion of his alcoholism at all.

Interesting.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Turn the bones of your beloved, dead pet into freaky-ass sculpture: [link]

I, um, actually think those are kind of nifty.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've got the ashes of a beloved cat that I still don't know what to do with. Maybe I could mix them up with clay and turn him into a sculpture or bowl? Hmmm.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm pretty sure you get special dispensation, Jilli. Due to the spooooky.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I, um, actually think those are kind of nifty.

I wondered if that was your former roommate. Wasn't there roadkill art? (Or maybe I'm thinking of a play I did that had animal bones and such in sculptures).

I should be going to an opening night party in a couple of hours. I'm feeling disinclined.
