It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

For those who like that sorrrt of thing, SNL has a pirate convention sketch tonight. Pretty silly.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ah, the cat is back. Not my cat, btw. I am crashing in the spare bedroom at a friend's house. Whenever I do this, the cat shuttles several times between this bedroom and my friend's bedroom, thus getting extra petting, scritching and snuggles. It's weird - the cat is completely black, so I can't see him at all when the light's out. He can see me though - at least well enough so he can find my hand and push his head against it - the universal cat sign for, "Pet me, dammit! Oh, and do that scratch-behind-the-ears thing that I like."

Now tagless for your comfort.

Anyone remember the US Touching Evil? Who killed the child-abductor in it?

I remember it, and you and I were probably the only people who watched most of it, and I don't think they ever resolved that question. I remember the confession scene in the British version vividly.

The US and UK versions are running together in my head but I thought he committed suicide in the US version. I could be wrong.

well, 20 min. after going to bed, it became clear that the leg pain was not going to allow sleep anytime soon. A damp washcloth and a heating pad mostly fixed things. And the cats were amazed by this warm square of the covers.

silly cats! Maceo got mad at me last night because I kicked him off the bed. And now he won't come and snuggle.

Sigh.

Off to class today.

I am skipping church today. I am just moving too slowly to get there in any respectable time. BUT I have eaten breakfast and washed dishes this morning, so that's something.

ION, I really love CBS Sunday Morning.

hip deep in pie

I want one of those knife blocks!

I was feeling all schmoopy last night, so I went to bed around 9, and slept for almost 12 hours. Now I feel like I have a sleep hangover.
